The concentration of glycerol in the samples was inferred from a Mega-Calc™ Mega-Calc™t.
SIV DNA copy number in unknown samples was inferred by plotting the threshold cycle (Ct) value against a calibration curve (gag SIVmac251 DNA plasmid, linear dynamic range 10 to 107 copies).
