Other authors have reported that for tight gas sandstones the slope decreases with increasing net stress (e.g., Sampath and Keighin 1982; Rushing et al. 2003), and we find this in most of the samples; however, for sample KTF an increase in the slope can be observed, due to the proportionally large reduction in slippage radius as calculated from slip parameters (Fig. 9).
The experimental results indicated that heat transfer increased with a flow rate for both water and nanofluid samples; however, for the nanofluid samples, heat transfer enhancements occurred at lower flow rates and heat transfer degradation occurred at higher flow rates (compared to that of water).
Methylation-specific PCR provides a relatively simple and cost-effective assay that can be used to assess methylation in clinical samples, however, for loci of interest, we have confirmed methylation status by bisulfite pyrosequencing or combined bisulfite restriction analysis (COBRA).
The fact that this criterion is difficult to establish without a comparison to the laboratory sample raises a potential problem for the use of this method of participant removal with AMT samples; however, for the purposes of this validation study, it provides us with a conservative estimate that is logically comparable to the laboratory sample.

The data in Table 4 also show that the Soxhlet lipid extraction procedure, in the case of Nannochloropsis sp. biomass extracts 94.3% of the fatty acids of the whole biomass sample, however, for both the C. vulgaris biomass samples, deplete and replete, the extraction procedure only extracts 34.1 and 44.5% of the fatty acids respectively.
Refined normalization approaches are emerging [ 21] for ChIP-Seq datasets that contain a mock immunoprecipitation (IP) sample; however, for otherwise rich ChIP-Seq datasets that lack such a mock IP, including [ 11] and [ 12], we believe data should still be normalized for the number of reads, in the absence of a more delicate approach for this type of data (see Discussion).
The TT polymorphism was the least frequent in the sample; however, for TT individuals, selenium concentrations accounted for 26% of the variance in GDS Total Score, 13% of the variance in Dysphoria, 37% of the variance in Meaninglessness, and 19% of the variance in Apathy.
As mentioned previously, larger than expected or multiple bands were visible on the agarose gel for some samples, however, sequences for these matched confidently by BLAST to the expected sequences.
In our tissue samples, however, immunoreactivity for bcl-2 did not correlate with better prognosis; although similar results have been reported by others [ 56].
