There have been a number of reports which specifically targeted samples of speakers who stutter.
Apart from Andrews and Harris (1964), Dworzynski et al. (in press), and Mannson (2000), there have been few other longitudinal studies that have used an unselected target sample of fluent speakers and speakers who stutter.
First, a sample of native speakers selected 56 words having maximally strong differences between a dominant and a subordinate meaning.
