Tutors can introduce the ways of expanding the meaning-making potential in these visual semiotic resources by presenting samples of elaboration, extension, and enhancement relations.
These isolated samples, after elaboration with deoxyribonuclease I, in order to remove the residues of DNA, were first reverse transcripted to cDNA with reverse transcriptase, and then the mRNA quantity of each sample was measured using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
