"What's going to change is that you're going to have the same kind of freedom that actors have on stage, yet you can record it.
Seth Gordon, who directed "Horrible Bosses," said he cast Mr. Bateman to provide the same kind of "grounding" the actor brought to the unhinged environment of "Arrested Development," and also for "that classic Bateman timing".
