Interestingly, under the same conditions incorporation of radioactivity into LRRK2 was substantially higher than 4E-BP phosphorylation, despite LRRK2 being present at a much lower concentration (∼12 nM LRRK2 versus 1.5 to 12 µM 4E-BP), which is apparent on examination of a single exposure with both reactions (Figure 1A).
