Despite this, there is a huge salaries variation in the public sector, since it depends on the local policies and career plans from the municipalities, and in our research, 82.4% of OHTs perceived less than the mean income of the personnel without higher education in public sector [ 18].
Most importantly, my resume design did not generate meaningful variation in salary requirement as each resume pair was randomly assigned salary requirements that were almost identical to ensure uniformity.
An additional complication is the wide variation in salary and conditions between grants from regional governments, universities and even from different Ministries.
Moreover, if there are no major variations in salary perceptions, and given an equal workload, the compatibility between job and the rest of social life improves PQL perception.
