Friday the 13th has given rise to a horror-movie franchise, for starters, and has been used to launch everything from heavy-metal albums (Black Sabbath's début, back in 1970) to comically morbid literature (the thirteenth Lemony Snicket book, back in 2006).
A demo for the game was released on Xbox Live on September 7, 2010, and features four songs: "Children of the Grave" by Black Sabbath, "No Way Back" by Foo Fighters, "Ghost" by Slash featuring Ian Astbury, and "Bloodlines" by Dethklok.
