In order to reveal the complicated kinetics evolution, a rigorous descriptor (H2O/H2) and a rough descriptor (CO2/CH4) were identified due to their correlations with the θO/θ∗ ratio, dominant reaction pathway (DRP) and kinetically relevant steps (KRS).
In this paper, we have avoided using "rough and roughness" as descriptors as much as possible and instead use terms like aperture or surface variations.

This property is quantified by top descriptors such as small form factor (defined as 4*pi*Area/Perimeter∧2), due to the rough edge resulting from chromatin radiating from the cell center, and large standard deviation of intensity, caused by chromosome condensation and overlap in the z-dimension.
Having ascertained that there is a statistically significant relationship between the cis-regulatory descriptors and the periodic classes of genes, we proceeded to apply the rough set methodology of Hvidsten et al. [ 7] to recover higher-order combinations of descriptors.
Labels are more than descriptors.
