We hypothesized that secondary cases >65 years of age might have had a greater risk for unconfirmed transmission, given longer lives which included the era of relatively high TB rates before the availability of TB drugs.

The T3 (confirmed group) showed a significant increase in fall-related fracture risk compared to T1 (unconfirmed group) in the Vegetable pattern.
In contrast, T2 (moderately confirmed group) in the Meat pattern showed a significant decrease in fall-related fracture risk compared to T1 (unconfirmed group).
The complete (blue) network eventually contains the largest amount of available information, but with the restriction that some reactions may be unconfirmed and the risk of duplications.
Altogether, the case-case and case control comparisons highlight the difficulties in using demographic risk factors to determine whether unconfirmed herds are truly infected with bTB.
It brings patients extra economical burden, yet with unconfirmed effect and risks of new ADRs induced by those liver protective drugs.
One possible explanation for why unconfirmed inconclusive herds without high risk import movements was a risk factor is that these were generally not placed under movement restrictions or subject to follow-up testing, which increases the chance that any truly positive herds will have the opportunity to spread bTB through cattle movements.
The two main objectives of this study were to investigate the risks of bTB associated with cattle movements and to identify risk factors that may aid in the interpretation of unconfirmed positive or inconclusive RHT results.
