Healthcare is becoming increasingly difficult to manage due to insufficient and less effective healthcare services to meet the increasing demands of rising aging population with chronic diseases.
The rising aging population in westernized countries also indicates that traumatic SCI secondary to falls may become an increasing public health challenge and that incidence among the elderly may rise with increasing life expectancy.
Yet, with rising aging populations and higher proportions of females than males surviving to old ages, non reproductive health conditions such as non-communicable diseases are becoming a fundamental public health concern in those countries.
It is the solution to answering the future's growing demands for health care that is currently experiencing a shortage of manpower (inability to increase workers proportionally) caused by the rising aging population [ 12].
Such endeavor will help realize the improvement of the life quality and health of the elderly population, the prevention and early treatment of aging-related diseases, and the relief of the burden on individuals, families and the society originated from the rising aging populations.
