This study assessed the degree to which hazardous vignettes are perceived as dangerous and realistic by car drivers and motorcycle riders (Exp. 1) and whether riders could be distinguished from drivers on their performance in a commercial motorcycle simulator during safe and hazardous riding situations using the same hazards (Exp. 2).
Finally, one of the challenges of the authorities is to reduce the gap between the training/licensing situations and the real riding situations.
Thanks to these tools, a broad-ranging research programme has been conducted, from the design and tuning of real-time falls detection to the study of riding training systems, as well as studies focusing on naturalistic riding situations such as filtering and line splitting.

Previous studies found that in the RIDE situation when personal threat is highly uncertain, affective measures of risk more powerfully predict protective behavior uptake than do cognitive measures [ 6, 10].

On Oct. 29, a Bronx man, Edwin Gallart, 41, got into a most unwelcome situation while riding a Metro-North Railrout train oft of Grand Central Terminal: his arm became trapped from hand to elbow in a toilet when he reached into it to retrieve his cellphone, which had fallen in.
Everyone's riding this cloud-computing situation, and I think it's now starting to move into reality.
This study piloted a multiple aspect approach to assess differences or changes in equine behaviour, using physiological (heart rates – HR, salivary cortisol – SC) and behavioural measures in various routine (feed-time, riding, turning out) and test situations (novel situation tests NS: 2× reactivity and 2× handling, Cross-over design).
These children and teenagers have been killed in a wide variety of settings and situations — while riding a city bus, playing in parks, sitting in the back seats of cars, in gang disputes, in robberies, in the crossfire of sidewalk shootouts.
