A useful first step may be to better characterize the effects of imagery CBM by using richer measures of anhedonia that relate to its various facets (e.g., anticipation vs. experience of pleasure; Dunn, 2012; Pizzagalli, 2014).
The results (see Supplementary Figs S9 and S10) show that while these methods generate the correct clustering in the simplest case, they fail when the networks are variable in size and density, indicating the need for richer measures like Netdis in realistic settings.
As a result, it was possible to extract the energy, strength and range of the interactions for all cases, thereby providing a much richer measure of the interactions than relying solely on force profiles.
