The phrase 'revisit the text' is a correct and usable part of a sentence in written English.
It can be used when referring to reading something again, often with a new perspective. For example: "I suggest we revisit the text to look for any overlooked details."
In response to the bombings at the Boston Marathon on Monday, the playwright Richard Greenberg revisited the text of his new play, "The Assembled Parties," and excised several lines that referred to Boston and to a student bomb maker at Harvard.
