In its last earnings report Facebook touted its mobile revenues strategy--a strategy that it said depends on "sponsored stories --as the anstories --aslostories --as basis (the answertong benchmark for U.S. corporatitss), declossng margins, and sharp decline in revenues fron Zynga's GAAPs, once 12% of its revenues.
Some have chosen user paywalls as part of their revenue strategy.
If the airlines want to increase ridership in the long term, their current revenue strategy hardly seems a farsighted means of building consumer interest.
Also, WhatsApp's revenue strategy ($1 after a year of free use) looks especially sluggish compared to other apps offering similar services.
"There's clearly a movement toward more social media consumption on mobile devices, and Facebook doesn't have a revenue strategy for that shift.
"However," he continued, "we believe that our long-term cultivation of a uniquely broad and diverse set of advertising categories and clients," combined with the company's circulation revenue strategy, "will allow us to continue on our current growth trajectory".
Cliff Chenfeld, an owner of Razor and Tie, an independent label in New York, said his company tailored a revenue strategy for each project rather than immediately falling back on a calculation of how many albums could be sold.
That revenue strategy is a growing trend among major French museums, but has nonetheless drawn criticism from the national association of curators because of the risks of damaging precious works by transporting them long distances.
"For us and for systems around the country, this is a revenue strategy that's being discussed more and more seriously," said Stephen J. Morello, counselor to the chairman, Thomas F. Prendergast, at the transportation authority.
