Until recently, Dr. Feaster wrote in The Atlantic, little recorded sound had survived from before Edison introduced his Perfected Phonograph in 1888; a breakthrough came in 2008, when a collaboration called First Sounds, which included Dr. Haber and Dr. Feaster, was able to restore a French recording from 1860, a 10-second snippet of "Au Clair de la Lune" made on a phonautogram.
Employing the city's "Circus factions" in the work, the walls were restored in a record 60 days, according to the Byzantine chroniclers and three inscriptions found in situ.
"I am disappointed that instead of examining its own record and seeking to restore a respected place for itself in the public debate, Exxon has chosen to turn up the temperature on civil society groups," the letter reads.
Disney also commissioned a new score for the short film by Emmy-winning composer Mark Watters, who served as musical director for the Disney Channel series "Have a Laugh," a three-year project to restore and record 60 Disney shorts from the 1930s and '40s.
As it turns out, however, Go Set a Watchman is of a very different order from "revised" or "alternative" editions of, for example, The Great Gatsby or Ulysses, which sought to restore or record the supposedly original intentions of F Scott Fitzgerald and James Joyce.

It's his only miss, so when he has a chance to redo it and restore his perfect record, he cannot say no, even if he's risking a heart attack.
