As the Restatement says, expectation damages "put [the promisee] in as good a position as he would have been in had the contract been performed, that is, had there been no breach".
For example, if your essay was about developing business partnerships, you could begin your restatement by saying something like, "As a businessperson.... ......
Two days later, it restated its restatement and said it would also post new numbers for 2000 and 2001.
"[We] announced the target of getting [BBC senior managers] to 1% of total workforce in 2011, that is a restatement," he said.
But most of Enron's restatement, he said, came from a bigger "special purpose" vehicle called Chewco: Enron's management did not provide the information about Chewco that would have led Andersen to insist on its consolidation.

Some senior executives will probably decide not to sign their companies' disclosures, leading to more earnings restatements, he said.
The suit stemmed from failed audits at Waste Management Inc., the large trash company, which led to a $1.43 billion restatement of earnings in 1998, a restatement the commission said was the largest in American history.
"All shareholders suffer from a restatement," Mr. Hodgson said.
"Our first accountability is to unquestionable quality of this restatement," Mr. Owens said.
The first quarter ended May 4. The company does not expect any significant impact from the restatement, a spokesman said.
