It lulls them into believing they are unaffected by drink when, as Swartzwelder and co-worker Aaron White made clear in a recent paper in the Annals of the New York Academy of Science, they are, unit for unit, sustaining far more damage to memory and learning systems than adults since their brains are uniquely responsive to alcohol effects.
Using WGCNA, we generated correlations among coexpressed gene modules and differentially expressed miRNAs and provided evidence for relevant regulatory networks responsive to alcohol actions.
