To quantify the performance of its resolution and FOV, we first imaged a US Air Force resolution test target (US-AFT), i.e., USAF 1951 Test Chart from Edmund Optics.
The proposed optical set-up performance is implemented and experimentally validated by providing super-resolved images of an amplitude resolution test and a birefringent resolution test.
This PC-based system includes custom-designed circuit boards, a software interface, and resolution test phantoms.
Image resolution was measured using a USAF 1951 resolution test target.
Spatial resolution test and animal experiment were performed to demonstrate the imaging performance of the detector.
However, there is no theoretical analysis on the issue of neighborhood granularity selection, the influence of sampling resolution, test and misclassification costs on modeling.
By doing high resolution test runs and dumping the results to file, I was able to get an intuitive feel for the problem and quickly find out which approaches to use and which to avoid.
USAF 1951 resolution test target translated to depths below the native object plane (z = 0 μm) and imaged using a light field microscope with a 20x 0.5NA water-dipping objective.
