In this research, after determining Optimal Binder Content (O.B.C). of control mixture and those containing 10%, 20 %, 30, and 40% C&D mandrials, rutting performance of them were evaluated using indirect tensile resilient modulus test, Dynamic Creep test, and Wheel Tracking test.
During a resilient modulus test, a very "small" permanent strain accompanies each load cycle; this is absent in Elastic modulus test (Irwin 2009).
However, resilient modulus test indicated a significant reduction in flexibility property of asphalt mixtures made of modified bitumens.
On the other hand, the resilient modulus test for these asphalt mixtures were measured by applying square loading, haversine loading and bell-shaped loading on specimens.
Laboratory resilient modulus test results were analyzed in the context of the mechanistic-empirical pavement design guide (MEPDG) recommended universal constitutive model.
In conclusion, a higher workability and resilient modulus test result together with less environmental emission indicate that the WMA technology using Sasobit® and FA as an alternative filler are showing great potential for the production of eco-friendly asphalt pavement.
