The findings reported in this study emphasize that despite Iranian nurses' willingness and desire for research implementation, research utilization appears to be highly complicated, incorporating issues such as administration and executive challenges, lack of support, the wide gap between theory and practice, lack of knowledge and educational training continue to hinder this process.
