Finally, the requirement of continued adherence to the RA therapy is consistent with clinical trial methodology in which patients who do not adhere to the study protocol, including continuing to take the medication, are generally excluded from the trial.
As an increasing number of people living with HIV and AIDS in Kenya have access to ART, the primary caregivers of poor resource settings, often children, face the challenge of meeting the requirements of rigid ART adherence schedules and frequent relapses.
