Prior to the selection of the experts, our research team met with key informants in the village [health/development workers such as the Accredited Social Health Activist ASHAAanganwadi Workerrker (AWW) or Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM), representatives of Self Help Groups, etc.] to get an overview of the village, its size, social segmentation, and a general impression of its socio-economic status.
