Genomic DNA samples from 73 patients with T1D, comprising the independent cohort for qPCR analysis, were obtained from Coriell Cell Repository, repository number 65895.
DNA samples were obtained from the Coriell Institute Integrated Primate Biomaterials and Information Resource IPBIRR) for M. nigra (Repository number PR00726), M. thibetana (PR00711), and P. hamadryas (PR00559).
The slab was collected by R. Frattigiani, Laichingen, and is part of the collection of the Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Stuttgart under the repository number SMNS 70109.
