The array CGH profiles detected confirmed several findings from the previous reports of chromosomal imbalances by LOH or metaphase CGH and in addition identified chromosome 5 gain as a recurrent aberration in the LPTA entity.
The more pronounced deviations found in T lymphocytes, as well as reports of radiation-induced imbalance between TH1 and TH2 immune responses, suggested the need to include additional indicators aimed at the expansion and refinement of the studied immune parameters.
