Nine of our 14 patients with asymptomatic wrist uptake reported professions with intense manual daily work.
Some years ago I read a study by the UN International Labor Organization in which they reported the profession of journalist as the second riskiest in the entire world, only exceeded by test pilots.
Respondents reported their profession (psychiatrist, psychologist or other), education (specialist or not), being a manager or not and rater experience (years).
The self reported primary professions indicated that among the participants were 16 (39%) general practitioners, 16 (39%) physiotherapists, 3 (8%) rheumatologists, 3 (8%) epidemiologists, 1 (3%) manual therapist and 1 (3%) senior lecturer in occupational medicine with a background as a GP and in occupational medicine.
Table 1 reports the profession and highest qualification at baseline for each group.
