Neither mock depletion, nor [Ro60/La/hY RNA]/[nucleolin/hY RNA] RNP co-depletion inhibited the initiation of chromosomal DNA replication in this system as 59±1% and 60±5% of nuclei of nuclei replicated, respectively.
To this end, 23 and 14 subchromosomal regions were found to be efficiently and inefficiently replicated, respectively (Figure 3, see orange and green bars).
It has also been applied or replicated, respectively in other German studies in order to get improved prevalence estimates [ 14, 15].
The main effects are denoted as G, S, and R and represent gene, treatment, and replicate respectively.
To identify commonly demethylated CGs we grouped AZA and DAC replicates, respectively, and found a substantial overlap of CGs that were demethylated by both drugs (Figure 2D).
The same effect was obtained when cells were infected with heat- or UV-inactivated viruses, unable to penetrate into host cells or to replicate, respectively (Figure S2C).
Derived calibration curves refer to the mean of the injection replicates, respectively.
Each population was started with two hundred three- to five-day old virgin flies at an even sex ratio with Cyp6g1 genotypes at Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium frequencies (e.g. RR RS:SS was 2 36:162 and 50 100 50 for LF and MF replicates, respectively).
Our process of filtering noise reduced the overlap of 10,763 genes to 3,362, 2,569 or 1,760 genes if one accepts 'present' calls on at least 1, 3 or all 5 of the array replicates, respectively, across both tissues and platforms.
The group 2 phylogenetic radiation is divided into two clusters (supported by 96%and97%7% of the bootstrap replicates, respectively) which match the diversification of the proteobacteria into the β and γ subgroups (Fig. 3).
The least precise assays were for Staphylococcus aureus, M. catarrhalis, and P. aeruginosa; these quantified 33 of 36 (91.7%), 32 of 36 (88.9%) and 32 of 35 (91.4%) replicates, respectively, within the 1 log range.
