In the case of the first internal column removal, using one infilled wall above the removed column in nine successive floors or more prevent the structure collapse.
Using three masonry walls above the removed column in four successive floors or more prevented the structure's collapse.
Using two masonry walls in the same plane above the removed column in five successive floors above the removed column prevent the structure collapse.
Portions of ambiguous alignment were first adjusted manually and then masked to remove columns in the alignment with > 30% gaps prior to phylogenetic analysis (Additional file 13).
To infer the final tree shown in Figure 1, we first used the GUIDANCE server [ 75] with 100 replicates of PRANK and removed columns with less than 5% support, in order to remove alignment columns that were likely to have been misaligned while retaining most of the potentially phylogenetically informative columns.
As a result, only a single force displacement response curve is needed in the energy-based pulldown analysis, compared to a large number of force displacement curves for multiple nodes along all directly affected beams above the removed column, as required in the energy-based pushdown analysis.
Based on the experimental observation, it was found that the concrete of frame slabs had obviously cracked, and plastic hinges in the frame beam ends near the removed column had formed in this stage.
HMMs for each cluster were constructed by iteratively constructing multiple alignments with Kalign [ 34] and removing columns represented in less than 10% of the sequences, or in at least two sequences if the cluster contains less than 10 sequences.
As shown in Fig. 8, the stress of a part of the reinforcement near the removed column significantly increased with increases in the vertical displacement of the removed column, and the maximum of the stress had exceeded 200 MPa.
From the stress of the slab bottom reinforcement, it was found that the stress of a part of the reinforcement near the removed column obviously increased with increases in the vertical displacement of the removed column, but the stress of the others far from the removed column was still very small at this stage.
