As there would have been at least changes that could be detected at molecular level in these patients without which the chance of developing a recurrence is very remote, investigations to identify these molecular changes would be extremely useful to prevent recurrences in the future.

While many of the current virtual globes have proven to be quite useful for remote geologic investigation, they were never designed for the purpose of serving as virtual geologic instruments.
