Challenges also arose in the evaluation of B. anthracis-containing powders, epidemiologic investigation (28), environmental assessment (29, 30) and remediation, surveillance (31, 32), diagnosis, treatment, and post-exposure prophylaxis (33– 33).
Semiconductor photocatalysts have attracted considerable research interests because of their potential value in environmental remediation [1, 2, 3, 4, 5].
Comparing with other nanostructures, nanowires, especially ferromagnetic metal nanowires, have attracted more attention owing to their fundamental importance for various fields such as environmental remediation [1, 2], biomedicine [3], magnetic sensors [4], and magnetic storage devices [5 7], etc.
In recent years, various technologies have been developed for environmental pollutant remediation [4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9].
Sensing gas molecules, specifically toxic air pollutants, is critical in environmental pollution reduction and agricultural and medical remediation [26].
There was less agreement between the perceived usefulness of strategies such as weakness identification for remediation (92.6% for the practice quizzes compared with 76.7% for ARS).
Besides, magnetic nanoparticles are also being utilized as a key material for magnetic ferrofluid [8], catalysis [9], data storage [10], and environmental remediation [11].

Among these, anatase has been proved to have excellent chemical and physical properties for environmental remediation [5] and many other uses [6 8].
In addition, significant efforts have been devoted to enhance the activity of wide bandgap photocatalysts by doping for environmental remediation [7, 8].
Therefore, a great effort has been made for seeking the highly active photocatalysts which could be applied for the environmental remediation [4].
