To test the relative imaging performance of the HDS image reconstruction approach, we conducted a series of studies with simulated 'numerical phantoms' to quantitatively assess the features of reconstructed images.
As anticipated, the use of different CW and EP data mixes had a qualitatively similar effect on the relative imaging PSF size (and therefore resolution) as was observed in Fig. 5.
