The THG χ(3) of a liquid relative to glass can be estimated from two z-scan experiments: (i) a water-glass-liquid scan as shown in Fig. 3, and (ii) a water-glass-air reference scan (not shown).
Relative to glass (100%), platelet attachment on ePTFE, PLGA and PGS was 61%, 100%, and 28%, respectively.
Detailed physical properties showed that the resulting polyimides have good solubility in common organic solvents, relative high glass transition temperatures.

Water source was not related to any of those pregnancy outcomes, but an increasing amount of ingested water was associated with decreased risks of all three outcomes (odds ratios around 1.5 for 0 glasses per day relative to 1-3 glasses per day, falling to 0.8 for 4+ glasses per day).
