We rely on reported hours actually worked (see Fig. 1 b) in the Structure of Earnings Survey which ranges from 31 to 206 % of the regular working time to obtain the individual multipliers of the preference for leisure ϕ, i.e., begin{array}rcl@ phi_{k} in left{ 0.5phi, 1.0phi, 1.5phi, 2.0phiright}.
In a multinomial logistic regression model higher degrees of alcohol consumption were significantly associated with male gender, trauma, short-stays, attendance outside regular working time, and with repeat attendances and self-discharge.
Female gender was associated with social behaviour better adapted to regular working times at ERs, regular medical procedures and with more social support by friends.
Significant linear dose-response relationships were seen for the effects of short duration of stay, multiple attendances, attendances outside regular working times, discharge against medical advice and male gender on increasing clinical degree of alcohol consumption on (Table 4).
We found statistically significant associations for higher degrees of alcohol consumption with male gender, trauma (or suspicion of trauma), duration of stay <24 hours, multiple attendances, discharge against medical advice, attendances on weekends and attendances outside regular working times (Table 4).
According to the Chinese Labor Law passed in 1994 and put into effect in 1995, regular daily working time cannot exceed 8 h and average weekly working time cannot exceed 44 h.
Based on the average number of dialysis per month, the staff level, the regular working hours, the percentage of working time on the dialysis unit, the need of machine maintenance and repair and on the hypothesis that the staff is working on their maximum capacity level the following monthly capacities were obtained (Table 2).
This provides for a normal upper limit of 48 hours on weekly working time, regular rest breaks and four weeks' paid holiday.
This pattern could be due to the increased time constraints of these students, who must be physically present in the school compound to exchange information during regular working hours while also working full-time in different organizations.
Hence, although both practices offer regular flexibility, employees prefer flexible work schedules to telecommuting, because flexible work schedules provide daily working time flexibility without the significant drawbacks of telecommuting.
Note that most users were students so that they might not have any regular places to visit during the working time.
