- Reflexive: Reflexivity asks researchers and innovators to think about their own ethical, political or social assumptions to enable them to consider their own roles and responsibilities in research and innovation as well as in public dialogue.
Research over the past decade has shown that they play an important role in reflexive responses to light, such as pupil constriction and regulation of the body's sleep-wake cycle.
Broadly speaking, IPL has been proposed to play a crucial role in reflexive visual attention (Corbetta & Shulman, 2002; Konen, Kleiser, Wittsack, Bremmer, & Seitz, 2004; Nobre, Coull, Walsh, & Frith, 2003).
