The learning-based approaches [20,21] attempt to capture the correlation between LR and HR patches to exploit the redundant high-frequency information which is remained in HR training samples.
Joint aperture technology is then proposed to make full use of the redundant pulse repetition frequency and obtain wide area imaging fast.
To remove redundant motifs, each position frequency matrix was converted to a k-mer frequency vector that was then used to build a distance matrix by the Pearson Correlation distance.
The frequency of redundant clones is shown in Figure 2. Assembled sequences of the redundant ESTs were submitted to NCBI as GenBank Accession numbers JR863574 to JR863646.

To remove redundant information, the sampling frequency of both LF and HP components is reduced to 8 KHz by down-sampler.

However, due to the high frequency of redundant ESTs, which makes it impossible to confirm all isoforms comprehensively, we opted take a conservative approach and only use the region of one, "representative" EST that aligned with its homolog for further analyses.
A related approach, called multicarrier block-spread (MCBS -CDMA, was introduced in [9] by capitalizing on redundant block spreading and frequency-doMCBS -CDMAr precoding to preserve orthogonal multiple-accessing and to enable full multipath diversity gains.
Figure 5 shows a colour map of the non-redundant motifs and their frequency in the promoter sequences.
The removal of redundant, i.e. low frequency, information is an efficient coding strategy for a system with limited bandwidth, as shown for optimal spatio-temporal filters at high signal-to-noise ratio of bright luminance [10], [11].
