In addition to reduced incidence of candidiasis we have also seen a reduction in severity which is hard to measure; in the 1990s candidiasis was sometimes so severe as to block the air/water channel of the endoscope, but this is very rare now.
About 30percentt of patients had the 75percentt reduction in severity at some point after the treatment started.
