It took years to change the fundamental ways food packaging is produced and taken back into the waste stream, and today, Starbucks is even going beyond recycled content, targeting 100percentt reusable or recyclable cups by 2015 and working in partnership with competitors like Tim Horton's.
The campaign asks Starbucks to make good on commitment for 100% recyclable cups, recommit to 25% reusable cups, commit to 100% post-consumer recycled and/or tree-free cups, and adopt and implement a policy of no impact on forests.
