The diagnosis of primary rectal lymphomas requires that there is a lymphoproliferative disorder confined to the rectum and regional lymph nodes without involvement of abdominal organs, bone marrow and without retroperitoneal or mediastinal lymphadenopathy.
Furthermore, NUB1 is expressed in some cancer cell lines, including rectal adenocarcinoma, neuroblastoma, malignant lymphoma, cervical adenocarcinoma and RCC (Kito et al, 2001).
