As demonstrated previously for the equivalent hDOP C351I Gαi1 mutants [ 30], co-expression of V150E,V154D hDOP–C352I Gαi2 and hDOP G204A,C352I Gαi2 reconstituted the ability of DADLE to stimulate binding of [S]GTP[S] in membranes of pertussis-toxin-treated HEK-293 cells, whereas SB225002 was again unable to replicate this effect.
