This study shows that principal components of the birch tree extract can be rapidly recognized and differentiated based on their vibrational fingerprint band shape and intensity.
In addition, it has long been recognized that differentiated cells of both normal and tumor origin are defective in the DNA damage response and repair at the global level, displaying a marked increase in sensitivity to ionizing radiation and other DNA damaging agents [ 1- 3].
