This was expected since anti-TMG antibodies recognize the cap structure on U1-U5RNA, inclU3RNA U3RNA [ 17].
So far, the 5′-structure and the transcription start site (TSS) have not been identified in dinoflagellate minicircles; however, integrative transcriptome analysis, which recognizes the cap structure of mature mRNA using "Oligo-capping," suggested that most putative TSSs are between C5 and the ORF of plastid-encoded genes (fig. 2 and supplementary fig.
