Public hospital maternity care is provided at no cost to women, whereas private maternity services, although subsidised through Medicare Benefits Schedule and private health insurance rebates, require varying out-of pocket patient contributions for particular services [ 10].

What the Ten Million Solar Roofs Act does is provide consumer rebates for the purchase and installation of solar systems.
A spokesman for MCI, Charles Sutlive, explained that the company is providing a $14.99 rebate for two months as an incentive to attract new customers.
Patients may then be required to meet the difference between the provider's fee and the rebate, however many services are provided at no charge to the patient.
"The rebate process was very simple, because the $7,500 was provided up front to reduce the cost directly, then the $2,500 was the rebate check coming from California," Ms. Casteel said.
