Tables 2 and 3 detail the reasons for item flagging for exclusion: due to floor or ceiling effects, not fitting unidimensionality, redundancy, not proper ordering, differential item functioning or less relevant for patients and/or experts.
One potential reason for Item 6 ('Working with people all day is really a strain for me") and 16 ('Working with people directly puts too much stress on me") lacking correlation with EE as expected, could be that the students in this study were in the first or second year of the curriculum and had minimum contact with the school's employees but interacted mostly with their classmates.

As with floor items, the majority of comments were associated with individual capability or interest in performing the activity or personal reasons for the item's insignificance ("I have towing service...no need to change a tire").
