When I lose a plant I really like, I'll often buy another one.
If that's what God is really like, I'll pass.
But if it's an artist I really like, I'll listen to the whole album, absolutely.
"THE problem with dinner at your house," my friend Robin laments, "is that if you make something I really like, I know I'll never get to eat it again because you never make anything twice".
So while I like his food, and his standards, and find it reassuring that he has said this would be the one TV job he'd really like, I'm not convinced it will all translate to good television.
"My problem is that I really like rice but I will have to cut down on carbohydrates for any evening meals before racing," she says, adding: "I am not really a morning person and have always preferred afternoon or evening training sessions".
"We're really afraid because it looks like I will have to separate from my wife and children.
"There are some new songs that I really like, but I never think, Maybe I'll sing this song.
And if I really like it, I will go out and buy the record.
"If you really like this, I will sell it to you and you can keep it".
