At the time of follow-up, 18 (8%) of the hips revised with a dual-mobility cup at the index cup revision had been re-revised.
Three hips (4.3%) were re-revised or in need of re-revision, and worst-case survival was 87%.
In the third case, there was a cup loosening based on an undersized uncemented shell (technical/surgical failure) directly after the revision and this was re-revised on the same day.
