'rd' is not a correct and usable word in written English by itself
It is an abbreviation for "road," but it is not considered a standard abbreviation and should not be used in formal writing. The word "rd" can only be used in written English as part of a street name or address abbreviation, such as "Main St.," "1st Ave," or "Smith Rd."
