The aim of this study was to assess the overall clinical utility of 18F choline PET/CT for primary metastasis staging of high-risk prostate cancer, in terms of detection rate of suspected metastasis.
In our study, the rate of neonatal clinical sepsis was similar to that in previous studies [ 3, 29], but the rate of suspected neonatal infections was higher.
Our results are comparable to these numbers, and also to other studies of chest pain in primary care [ 1, 2, 6], except our higher rate of suspected heart disease.
While the 'snowman question' may have contributed to the high rate of suspect results on the problem solving scale, this question was not the sole reason for the results observed since children would have to miss several other items in that domain to fall into the 'suspect' category.
Fujiwara [ 22] also indicated that toddlers of mothers with lower levels of education had greater rates of suspected ASD.
Overall, 50 of 129 children (38.7%) had suspect results for at least one of the five scales, with the highest rates of suspect results on the Communication (15.5%) and Problem Solving scales (13.9%).
Higher rates of suspect outcomes were seen in older children, both overall (p=0.06) and on Problem Solving (p=0.009), and for some scales there were trends between suspect outcomes and wealth index or undernutrition.
Consistently low confirmation rates of suspected meningitis cases (data not presented) and missing or limited laboratory data (eg, available at the regional level, or in the catchment area of national or regional laboratories) impeded the computation of the ERI [ 31].
