HSV-1 KOS strain expressing GFP (HSV-1 GFP), HSV-1 GFP strain and HSV-2 Mstrainin were kindly provided by Søren Panddan (Aarhus University, Aarhus, DenMSrk).
The PVG-RT7b (PVG.7B) strain expresses an allotype of rat CD45 (RT7.2) and was used interchangeably with the standard PVG strain (RT7.1) as both strains express the RT1c haplotype of the rat MHC.
