Of the respondents, 57% (n=4054, range between different countries 46 77%) indicated a need for information about medicines during their pregnancy.
Results from previous publications demonstrate that the proportion of herds potentially having active BVDV infection shows a wide range of variation between countries and between regions within countries [ 6, 26, 23, 12, 20, 30, 35].
All countries showed some increase over time, except in Finland (increase ranging between the countries from −0.16 to 5.5% annually in men, and from −0.70 to 4.7% in women).
These risk factors accounted for 57.7% (57.0-58.4) of CVD risk, with relatively little between country variability (between-country range 52.6 to 61.6%).
Lack of control of the combination of these risk factors accounted for 29.2% (28.5-29.8) of CVD risk, with a between-country range of 22.1 to 34.0%.

Participants in the overall sample (Table 1) had a mean age of 66.5 years (SD, 10.8), 56% were male, and mean HbA1c was 7.1% (SD, 1.1; 54 mmol/mol), with a between-country range of 6.7% (50 mmol/mol) for the Netherlands to 7.5% (58 mmol/mol) for Italy and the United Kingdom.
