The scatter mode displays color-coded physical quantities (particle count or phase space density) at each data point of observations, as shown in Fig. 2.
These abrupt concentration changes were attributed to ultrasound stimulation, but the release concentration and the duration of particle release were controlled by the power of the ultrasound stimulation and the quantity of particles deposited in the sand.
Surface area coverage was quantified as opposed to quantity of particles since sufficient hemostatic plug formation requires complete wound plugging, which is dependent not on the quantity of particles but on the total area the particles can occupy.
The quantity of particles -- 20 micrograms per cubic meter -- is equivalent to about seven ten-millionths of an ounce.
For the second stage of tests, we might use high-altitude aircraft to deliver a larger quantity of particles at about 65,000 feet in the tropics, which would then be carried much higher and toward the poles by the natural overturning circulation in the stratosphere.

However, identical observation data is retained at every time step, and there will the same starting quantity of particles N for every filter.
The same quantity of particles also optimally raises the critical strain energy release rate and Young's modulus of epoxy by approximately 22 24% and 18 25% respectively.
Generally, the true state and filter estimates are demonstrated when N 0 is given a value of 100 (demonstrated in Fig. 3) and the quantity of particles is determined using various resampling methods against the step (demonstrated in Fig. 4).
Third, it could be argued that our study is limited by the large quantity of particles injected, the endpoint of injection, and the method of injection.
